Whole Hearts: Trauma-informed Yoga + Art for Peace and Healing

You are not alone. And healing is possible! 

Whole Hearts is a six-week program that is created for women who've experienced trauma or abuse of any kind.

In a safe space, we will: 1) learn about the effects that trauma has on the body, mind, and heart + soul. 2) We will do some gentle yoga (breath and movement) and 3) Create a different art project each session.

The goal of this six week program is to befriend our bodies again, and to find healthy ways to cope with the pain, sadness and/or anger of traumatic experiences. 

Each class will be 75 minutes. Each week we will build on what we learned the previous week, so it is advised to try and make each session. This program is limited to 6 participants. Once we start, this program will be closed so as to create a safe environment for those participating. Please let me know if you're interested in knowing about future dates for this program. 

Dates are as follows: 

Tuesdays 6pm-7:15pm:  6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 7/2  (no class on July 5th) 

This is a donation-based program. Suggested donation is $8-$15 per class or $48-$70 for the six-week program, but we want to make this available regardless of cost. If you can’t give a monetary donation, we can talk about other ways to help at the studio.
